Welcome to Your Government at Work.

This website is designed to give Islanders up-to-date information on activities and progress on initiatives that have taken place across  Prince Edward Island government for the past two years.

Our Island community has coped well with the effects of the global economic downturn. In the midst of this, your government has remained focused on the plan to encourage a unified approach to the challenges that we face.

Progress has been made on important programs, services and initiatives that are aimed to enhance and strengthen our community. For example: the introduction of the George Coles Bursary has led to increases in post-secondary enrollment; the Province's largest Capital Plan ever is well underway with construction of large scale hospital expansions and renovations, bridges, roads and schools; Island educators are ready to welcome our children to the first full-day kindergarten in the public school system in the fall of 2010 and new young doctors are now participating in our Island community's first Family Medicine Residency Program.

Much is happening as government works diligently to improve programs and services, modernize infrastructure and foster economic activity.
